Lynda Johnson is a storyteller, cultural advocate, and proud descendant of two rich and diverse lineages. With deep ties to both Aboriginal Australia and coastal Norway, she brings a unique perspective to themes of heritage, belonging, and identity.

Lynda‘s work is inspired by oral traditions, ancestral wisdom, and a lifelong passion for connecting people through story. Bloodlines Across Oceans is her debut book – labour of love and legacy. Lynda‘s journey to understand her ancestors is a deeply personal one. Her Norwegian Ancestor made the courageous decision to leave everything familiar behind and migrate to Australia, driven by the promise of a new life. This journey was a leap of faith, filled with hope and strength of his heritage, in contrast her Aboriginal Ancestor resisted the invasion of European settlers, protecting his people and preserving their culture despite the immense challenges they faced.

Through her writing, Lynda seeks to honor the legacies of these two men who never met, but whose blood converged in her. Her book is an attempt to understand them and in doing so, to understand herself. It is a testament to resilience, humility, and quiet strength passed down through generations.
